MOVEMENT DISORDERS IN HEMATOLOGIC DISEASES

Unlike other neurologic symptoms, movement disorders represent uncommon manifestations of hematologic diseases. They occur in different categories of hematologic disorders as well as a part of genetic syndromes, which combine movement disorders and hematologic abnormalities, such as neuroacanthocytosis. The purpose of this review is to describe the spectrum of the movement disorders in the context of hematologic diseases and their distinguishing features focusing on recognition and management of these disorders.
