Abstract

Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) in children is a rare disease of the peripheral nervous system, leading to demyelination and axial damage. CIDP is often initially thought of as Guillain-Barre syndrome. The case of a 3-year-old patient as well as the diagnostic and therapeutic concerns are described.
