Abstract

Acute dissection of the aorta can be one of the most dramatic cardiovascular emergencies. Classically, acute aortic dissection occurs as stabbing chest or abdominal pain. However, early diagnosis may be unclear in the event of atypical presentation. We describe the interesting case of painless aortic dissection in the emergency.
